Marked: Numbers 3:12, Now behold, I Myself have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of every firstborn who opens the womb among the children of Israel. Therefore the Levites shall be Mine.
The Levite’s were chosen (redeemed) out of all the Israelites. They had a special purpose to fulfill. They did the work of the service of the tabernacle.
All Christians have been redeemed from the world for a special purpose; to do the work of the kingdom and point others to God.
