Read: Deuteronomy 5-7
Marked: Deuteronomy 6:18, And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the LORD swore to your fathers.
God sets the standard of right and wrong. Living by His standard assures that it will go well with me.
When I deviate from His standard, I experience difficulties and trials. It makes sense then to be observant of His words instructing me in what is right and good so I can possess the land I live in.
