Expecting an Answer…

Read: 1 Samuel 28-31
Marked: 1 Samuel 28:6, And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim or by the prophets.

Can I expect the Lord to always answer me? God did not answer Saul in his need, so it would seem I can’t expect Lord to always answer.

Looking further it seems the reason is, in this case, due to Saul’s disobedience, V18.

Samuel says, “Because you did not obey the voice of the Lord.” Only through obedience can a child of God be assured, and rightly expect, an answer from his Father.
