Read: Matthew 21-22
Marked: Matthew 22:11-12, “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.”
At the end, Christians believe there will be a wedding between the Lamb, Jesus, and His bride, the church.
Only those attired in the white robes of righteousness provided by Jesus will attend. Many believe in their own righteousness as sufficient to attend. But the Bible is clear; our works of righteousness will never cleanse us from the works of unrighteousness we have done.
It is only by faith in the mercy of God through Jesus Christ that we will be able to enter and join in with the multitude at His wedding.
