Read: Acts 7-8
Marked: Acts 7:51, “[You] stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers [did,] so [do] you.”
Stephen gave a history of God’s revelation to man, how He chose Abraham to bring forth one people, from whom would come one Saviour.
But people don’t like being confined to only one way. Not because they don’t know the truth, but because they are stiff-necked and are closed to God and resist the Holy Spirit.
They’d much rather kill the truth than consider it. It’s a miracle that any believe at all.
