Read: Job 10-13
Marked: Job 13:23, How many [are] my iniquities and sins? Make me know my transgression and my sin.
No matter how good I may feel or believe I am, if I would openly and honestly ask God to reveal my iniquities, transgressions, and sins, I think I would not be surprised to find that I’m really not as good as I think I am.
This may be a reason why people don’t read the Bible much because they don’t like what they see of themselves in its pages. The Bible is like a mirror revealing the true state of our nature and we don’t always like what we see.
But we can’t escape the truth. Sin will be dealt with now or at a later time when the judgment of God comes upon us all.
