Read: Job 35-37
Marked: Job 36:10, He also opens their ear to instruction, And commands that they turn from iniquity.
When Jesus taught He would sometimes end with, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 11:15).
It is important that I not simply read the Scriptures, but listen to them. What is God saying? What is He instructing me? What does He want me to do?
Much of Scripture is saying, “Turn from iniquity, turn from sin.” We struggle with our flesh because we haven’t learned to listen to God’s instruction, or learned the lesson to be able to turn from iniquity.
