Read: Deuteronomy 28-29
Marked: Deuteronomy 28:1, “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.”
God’s commandments often come with promises attached. He doesn’t ask blind obedience of us but shows us how doing what He asks is good for us.
The world makes promises it rarely keeps. It requires much of us for very little return. There is often a lot of work involved and the return on investment is not as great as the promises made.
But with God, diligent obedience and careful observation of His commandments brings great reward, not in a worldly sense, but in a heavenly truth, the blessing of God will come and overtake us.
