Read: Joshua 12-15
Marked: Joshua 13:1, Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the LORD said to him: “You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed.”
Joshua has led Israel and he is now old and advanced in years. But, there was still more to be done.
That’s the way it is with the work of the Lord. We all have work to do. I don’t think we will ever complete what needs doing in our lifetime if the Lord tarries.
The work won’t truly be finished, or completed until the Lord returns and completes it. In the meantime we must be about our Father’s business.
“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. (Luke 10:2)
