Read: Judges 16-18
Marked: Judges 16:28, Then Samson called to the LORD, saying, “O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one [blow] take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!”
If Samson had started as he ended who knows what he might have accomplished? His lust and carnal nature controlled him even though God used him. But this is the first time we see Samson actually praying to God and preparing to do what God had called him to do.
The time to do God’s will is now, not at some later time. I spend too much time fulfilling my own will instead of doing God’s will. If I put Christ first I think I’ll find that J have time for myself too, or the things I think I need to do will slowly fade away.
