Read: 2 Chronicles 19-23
Marked: 2 Chronicles 20:20, So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
A great multitude came to battle against Judah and Jehoshaphat feared (V5), but he set himself to seek the Lord. In verse 17 God tells them they wil not have to fight this battle, but they would see the salvation of the Lord.
It is in the heart of man to do evil which is where wars and murders come from. Poverty, hunger, despair, hopelessness, and fear, result from turning away from God and His Word.
To affect change in the world we must fear God and set our hearts to seek the Lord, to be established in God, to believe His prophets (the Bible), which brings prosperity.
Man has done it his way for millennia. Isn’t it time we turn to the Lord and see the salvation of the Lord?
