Marked: Nehemiah 13:3, So it was, when they had heard the Law, that they separated all the mixed multitude from Israel.
God explicitly calls those who believe in Him to forsake sin and live righteously. In His Law, the Word of God, we are continually reminded of this.
God calls us to be holy, not perfect. Holy means separation. We are to be separated, know right from wrong, good from evil, and light from darkness.
If we set our hearts on being separated from the things which go against God’s principles of separation, God Himself does the work of perfecting is.
