Marked: Esther 6:1, That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
Mordecai had been faithful and had saved the life of the king and now his life, and the lives of his people were threatened.
In my trial I wondered where God was. But when I came to know God through Jesus I came to understood that God was always with me, and that I had, and have, always been on His mind.
I came to learn this through passages like Psalm 121 which begins, I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
