Read: Acts 18-20
Marked: Acts 20:28, “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”
In 1 Corinthians 6:20 Paul writes that we were bought at a price and so we should glorify God in our body and in our spirit.
Here in verse 28 Paul reveals that the price paid for our redemption was the blood of Christ. And Peter confirms this in 1 Peter 1:18-19 when he says we were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ.
Our redemption from sin was bought and the price was high. Therefore our value to God must be high too.
