Marked: Jeremiah 22:13, Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness And his chambers by injustice, Who uses his neighbor’s service without wages And gives him nothing for his work.
The Lord knows all my unrighteous acts. I can’t prosper through unrighteous means and not be held accountable. I can’t prosper through injustice or, for example, by not paying for the labour of another and expect no consequences.
Christ paid a debt He did not owe; I owed a debt I could not pay. May I be righteous and just towards others as Christ commands and not see salvation as only benefitting me.
