What’s Your Excuse?…

Read: Exodus 4-6
Marked: Exodus 4:10, Then Moses said to the LORD, “O my Lord, I [am] not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I [am] slow of speech and slow of tongue.”

We can use many excuses for not doing what God instructs. For Moses, it was thinking he wasn’t eloquent, or able to speak. For others, it may be lack of knowledge, or being too young, or too shy. For some, it may be shame over things they’ve done.

But God, by His Spirit, has overcome all our insecurities in Christ. He asks only that we trust Him and not ourselves. What we think we’re incapable of, God is more than able to empower us in.

It is said God calls the unqualified and qualifies the called. All He asks is that we are willing.
